Wood-Based Paper Alternatives

 

In efforts to conserve forests and to decrease environmental impact of our wood-based paper industry, manufacture and use of recycled paper stock has proven positively beneficial.  But there’s another approach, as well:  Tree-free fiber sources for paper-production. Some companies are now using flax, hemp, kenaf, bamboo, cotton and other non-wood fiber sources in their paper production.  Tune in to Good Dirt Radio to learn more about these products and how they benefit the environment.
