Good Dirt Radio invites you to a benefit event, Who’s Your Mama? on Saturday, April 26 from 3:00 – 6:30pm at the Durango Discovery Museum. The event recognizes Earth Day, which is celebrated across the country each year during the third week of April. AND the event marks Good Dirt Radio’s tenth birthday.
A homegrown event, Who’s Your Mama? offers entertainment from local musicians, locally produced food and beverages, and information from local organizations working towards a healthy and sustainable future. Good Dirt Radio program co-hosts and local celebrities Tami Graham & Tom Bartels will emcee the event with entertainment provided by bands The Cannondolls (3:00-3:45pm), Stillwater Jazz (4:00-4:45pm), and Carute Roma (5:00-6:00pm). Micro brewed root beer from Carver Brewing Co., beer from Ska Brewing, and a taco bar by Zia Taqueria will be available for purchase. Good Dirt Radio’s all organic cotton t-shirts sporting the slogan, Who’s Your Mama?, will be available with a donation. Proceeds benefit Good Dirt Radio’s distribution efforts.

Local organizations offering information about their projects include The Garden Project of Southwest Colorado, National Young Farmers Coalition, Fort Lewis College Environmental Center, Linda’s Local Prepared Food CSA, and Good Dirt Radio. Also at the event will be the event sponsor, Growing Spaces, the maker of Growing Domes from Pagosa Springs.
The event is supported through in-kind contributions from Carver Brewing Co, Durango Discovery Museum, Durango Natural Foods Co-op, Fresh off the Press, Growing Spaces, KDUR, KSUT, Ska Brewing, and Zia Taqueria.
Weather permitting, the event will take place outdoors on the grounds of the Durango Discovery Museum.
