From the demand for hydro-fracked oil and gas and dirty coal to buying Big Ag’s junk and genetically modified food to disposable products, most of us unintentionally propagate unsustainable extraction, pollution and waste with everyday purchases. And there are hundreds of millions of us! Add emissions from global manufacturing and countless fossil fuel engines and the biosphere and atmosphere are gravely impacted. Consumer choices are directly connected to global pollution and climate change. Because of the overwhelming environmental crises we face, citizens are inspired to take action.
